Privacy policy

1. 1.Who we are

   1. 1.1This website is run by Lachlan Bunter trading as LJB Studios (“we”, “us”). For anything about your personal information, email hello@ljbstudios.com.au.
   2. 1.2We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. 2.What we collect

   1. 2.1When you contact us: your name, business, email or phone number, and your message.
   2. 2.2When you ask for a 3D part: your name, email, phone, suburb, what you need, and any photos or 3D files you send.
   3. 2.3When you order from the shop: your name, email, phone, delivery address and what you ordered. Your card details go directly to Stripe, our payment provider. We receive only the card type, its last four digits and its expiry date, never the full number.
   4. 2.4When you use your account: your email address, the sign-in codes we email you (stored only in scrambled form, and useless after 10 minutes), and the messages you send us.
   5. 2.5Quotes and invoices we prepare for you: the name, business, address and email they are made out to.
   6. 2.6How the website is used: page views counted by Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you. To stop spam and fake orders, our forms check your browser with Cloudflare Turnstile and Vercel BotID.

3. 3.How we use it

   1. 3.1To reply to you, prepare quotes, make and post your order, take payment, and send you order confirmations, tracking and receipts.
   2. 3.2To keep the business and tax records the law requires.
   3. 3.3To keep the website secure, and to stop spam and fraud.
   4. 3.4We don’t send marketing emails, and we never sell or rent your personal information.

4. 4.Who we share it with

   1. 4.1Only with the services we need to run the website and the business, and only what each one needs:
   2. 4.2Stripe, to take card payments, send receipts and keep any card you choose to save.
   3. 4.3Australia Post, with your delivery address and parcel details, to post your order and price its postage.
   4. 4.4Google, which receives the address you type at checkout so it can suggest matching addresses.
   5. 4.5Vercel, which hosts this website and stores its records; Microsoft 365, which holds our email; and Resend, which sends the website’s emails.
   6. 4.6Cloudflare, to check that forms are sent by people, not bots.
   7. 4.7Some of these services store information outside Australia, including in the United States. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and security practices.
   8. 4.8We may also share information if the law requires it.

5. 5.Cookies and your browser

   1. 5.1If you sign in to your account, we set one cookie to keep you signed in for 7 days. Signing out removes it.
   2. 5.2Your browser keeps your cart and your choice of light or dark theme, on your device only.
   3. 5.3Stripe’s payment form sets its own cookies, which Stripe uses to prevent fraud.
   4. 5.4We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. 6.How long we keep it

   1. 6.1Orders, quotes, invoices and payment records are kept for at least five years, as Australian tax law requires.
   2. 6.2Enquiries, messages, photos and files are kept for as long as they are needed for your work, and for any follow-up or remake.
   3. 6.3Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.

7. 7.Keeping it safe

   1. 7.1Records are kept in private storage that only we can reach, and the website is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
   2. 7.2Card details never pass through our systems; Stripe handles them.

8. 8.Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

   1. 8.1You can see your orders, quotes, invoices, payments and messages in your account, and remove saved cards there.
   2. 8.2To get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email hello@ljbstudios.com.au. We reply within 30 days. We can’t delete records the law requires us to keep, but we will tell you what they are.

9. 9.Complaints

   1. 9.1If you’re unhappy with how we have handled your information, email hello@ljbstudios.com.au and we will look into it and reply within 30 days.
   2. 9.2If you’re not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. 10.Changes

    1. 10.1We will update this policy when what we collect, or who we share it with, changes. The date below shows when it last changed.
